      Hello Zap,

We are using the ZAPTEST Community Edition, and we need to run a test multiple iterations each iteration with different set of data to be populated in different text-fields:
      How can we do it?

      Thanks.

        Hello BarbJack,

        Thank-you for your question.

The Zapfree (AKA ZAPTEST Community Edition) is a limited edition of ZAPTEST which allows you some basic options to automate tests:
In the full ZAPTEST version you can use scripting to update your test to do all what is required, for example, there are number of options to enable multiple iterations of the same test (Such as, looping, setting Datatable, use external files, call other tests, etc)
In Zapfree these are the steps for the only option allowing you to run a test multiple times (Iterations) and inject different data in each iteration:
        1. Record the required test with one set of data and save the test, run it again to make sure it works successfully.
        2. Assign all required data to the Datatable pane below the main window (Note, each Datatable column represents a single text-field).
        3. Use the Workbench to update the captured GUI objects in case the test failed to run (In the first section).
        4. Replace all the captured text-fields hard-coded data with parameters, each parameter represents a column in the Datatable.
        5. Run the test again and make sure all data populates as expected.

Please contact Zap for further help.

        Thanks,
        Sasha
