what are the object properties and how to use it

Hello Zap,

We’ve downloaded the ZAPTEST Community Edition:
After we record a test we see that each item we highlight in the Repository Explorer below it appear different Object Properties:
What are these, do we need to use it and if yes then how?

Thank-you for your question.

Basically the Object’s Properties in Zapfree (AKA ZAPTEST Community Edition) are the recognizable features of each captured object (The actual item which was used during the recording of the test in the AUT (Application Under Test)), without these features Zapfree will not be able to find the object in the AUT and the test will fail.
More professional users can update the Object’s Properties based on their understanding how the object will get better recognized by Zapfree (For example, the “Recognition Type” property can be recorded as “Image” but if the object has some caption on it then it can be changed to “OCR”).
