In this lesson we will learn how to configure a unix or a linux OS for automation with ZAP-fiX. First, you will need to install a VNC server. In this lesson we will install the tight vnc server. To do so, launch the terminal. Make sure your user has permissions to install packages then type "apt-get install tightvncserver", wait until the installation is complete. when done, execute the command "vncserver". if executed for the first time, you will be required to define a password. write down the X desktop number. It indicates the last digit of the VNC server's port number.
