first few minutes with Zaptest and don’t know how to add applications to the repository. Simple test is to grab text from an excel file then import text into an android app that’s amd onto the desktop. Scanned the UI of the app without any issues, but when I ran the Applications(“excel) script in the how to tutorial, no application was found within the repository and don’t know how to add.

      Thoughts?

Applications are already added in the repository once the GUI is scanned. When you drag items from the repository to scripting lines, an automatic indication of application or object is defined.

          Hello andy.graham301,

Based on your second post, did you manage to run the testing script eventually?
Does all work for you now?

If not please explain in more detains what is the issue, and attach testing script and a screenshot of the UI you need to automate (And if this is a Web based app also its URL, if it is public).

P.S. Please also try our tutorial at the following URL to get more familiar with ZAPTEST (There are detailed videos and examples of testing scripts you can download and run):

          Thanks,
          Sasha
