Good morning
I updated the free version of ZapTest to 23.3.2.
In re-executing a test written with the previous version, I got the following error: see attached image “zoe-error.png”
I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the product and restarting the PC.
X1 Carbon TinkPad PC with:
– Windows 10 Pro operating system
– RAM: 16GB

First try to do the following:
Uninstall ZAPTEST, delete the ZAP-fiX folder and install ZAPTEST again.
If the above will not help continue with this:
I’ve executed your test and did not get any error message, but the login failed (It says “Invalid credentials”):
Please send me a valid UID.
Also in ZAPTEST -> TOOLS -> Options -> Results Reporting -> Check the “Capture Full-Screen Screenshot”.

I have:
1- Uninstall ZapTest
2- Delete following folders:
C:Program Files (x86)ZAP-fiX
%USERPROFILE%AppDataLocalZap
%USERPROFILE%AppDataLocalZAPTEST, Inc
%USERPROFILE%AppDataRoamingZap
%USERPROFILE%AppDataRoamingZAP Technologies, Inc
%USERPROFILE%AppDataRoamingZAPTEST, Inc
3- restart PC
4- Re-install free ZapTest 23.3.3 version
Executing same script I obtain same error.

In order to get more details about your issue for our R&D team, I’ll need answers to the following questions:
1. So the main issue cause is the the “CrowdStrike Falcon Sensor” app, correct?
2. Do you need to enable or disable ZAPTEST in the “CrowdStrike Falcon Sensor” app work so the issue will not appear no more?
Please advise.

July 10, 2023 at 10:33 am #61645Marco MalziottiParticipant1. Yes, I confirm that the cause is “CrowdStrike Falcon Sensor”.
2. Unfortunately, every time I update version X of Zaptest on machine Y, I have to open an internal ticket within my company to have ZapTest re-enabled.
This is why I was wondering if it could be solved definitively on the ZapTest side and not on the CrowdStrike side.Marco Malziotti
