      Hello ZAP,

      We’ve noticed the following:
If a test stops its execution before its “official” ending, in its final test’s results it will say that the test passed successfully (Although it did not finish its execution).
      Is it a bug?
Please advise how to fix such.

      Thanks.

        Hello CurtisDo,

        Thank you for your question.

Basically this is not a bug:
In any functional testing application (Such as HP UFT), if a test ends without any specific issues (Issues such as, not found object, page error, issue with the testing tool, etc) the test will end with a success message even if it did not finish till its end:
The only indication if a test did finish or not in other applications is the message at the end saying “Stop Run” – Currently in ZAPTEST there is no such message but in the later versions we plan to include a message such as the HP UFT’s “Stop Run”.
In any case if you run the ZAPTEST based tests from within HP ALM and the test stops earlier its end Status will be “Not Completed”.
You can also implement different reporting messages in the testing script in case the test will not complete as required.

Please contact ZAP for further help.

        Thanks,
        Sasha

Thank you Sasha, we’ll try your workarounds and wait for newer ZAPTEST version with such message.
